A little bit about the book...

The Garden of the Soul is a colourful, metaphoric collection of stories and poems that depict the wholeness of the human spirit through the continuous flow of four simple principles: give, receive, become and be. This book is all about finding one's voice, and for that reason, the sound vibration that comes from reading aloud is as much a part of the book's essence as the written words themselves.

That night, author Lynn Serafinn will read the prologue of the book, a fairy tale called "The Very Good King", which is about learning to take the path of least resistance in life. This story sets the tone of the book by introducing you to the "four flowers": Daffodil, Rose, Iris and Lily. While the complete book is not yet available for purchase, signed copies of "The Very Good King" will be available on the evening.

The Bedford Creative Arts (BCA) Gallery is a charming little oasis of local art on the High Street of Bedford. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, so please come as you are and simply share the evening with us with open heart and ears!
